  • Who can come to Youth Group?

    We welcome youth in grades 6th - 12th. 

  • When is Youth Group?

    We meet every first and third Wednesday of the month.

  • What time is Youth Group?

    We meet at Immanuel Lutheran from 6:00pm to 7:00pm

  • What do you do at Youth Group?

    Our Youth Group is a place where young people can grow in their faith, build friendships, have fun, and be part of our church community.

Confirmation

  • What is Confirmation?

    Confirmation is a milestone in your child's faith. We will sit with the Lord's Prayer, the Apostles' Creed, Holy Communion, and the Church Year.

  • What grades are in Confirmation?

    Youth entering fifth grade. You will be confirmed in October of your eighth grade year.

  • What can I expect?

    We typically meet once a month. On Wednesdays, we'll eat dinner togerther at 5:30pm and class is to follow.

  • Is there weekend engageents?

    Yes! There are four across the year - the fall Youth retreat, two lock-in's, and a summer mission trip.

  • What is asked of students?

    • Attendance! All Wednesday classes and the fall Youth retreat are required. 
    • Sermon Notes: Students complete ten sermon notes per year.
    • Service projects around the church and in the community.
    • Worship: Confirmation grows out of worship.
    • Lenten Services: Beginning Ash Wednesday.
